So today I got a late start. The subject, I think is Tangerines, that I picked up at the farmers market earlier this week. This daily painting is a challenge, but rewarding. It feels good to end up with a painting a day no matter what else is going on.

I barely finished this one, and my husband was ready with Cabernet and a fire in the pit outside. I was not allowed to post until we were done with the fire. Well, this day ended well. A painting, a glass of wine, or two, and some quality time in front of the fire.

What will I paint tomorrow. Dunno. Perhaps a pinecone on fire...I got some really awesome reference..at least so it seems after two glasses of wine. We'll see how it looks in the morning.
